Q: What are your skating goals, both short-term and long-term?
My short term goals are to work real hard on becoming a best Ice Dancer I can be while searching for a partner that shares the same goals of building strong skills for the future. Additionally, I would like to train for and compete at the Juvenile or Intermediate level for the 2013/2014 season. If not competing, I plan to complete my Gold Dance test and my Junior moves test by the time I’m 13 as well as competing some in Solo Dance. Long term, I’d like to compete both nationally and internationally, just like my coach Trina Pratt!
Q: What qualities do you possess that would make you a good partner?
I love to skate and love to have fun while still working very hard. I have a good sense of humor and others tell me I’m fun to be around. I love to compete and rarely get nervous.
I am flexible, graceful, and have great lines and extension. I’m able to do many higher level lifts and spins. I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to skate along side several very successful teams and can work with them on lifts, spins, and partnering. I’m excited, able, and willing to try anything without hesitation.
I do very well in school and learn very quickly.
Extra comments:
Colorado Springs is a fantastic place to train and live. My coaches, Patti Gottwein and Trina Pratt, are fabulous at building very successful ice dance teams. They are the coaches of the 2013 Novice Silver and 2013 Intermediate Silver medalists and the previous coaches of the 2013 Novice Gold medalists. This is a great place to be training!
If you are willing to relocate we would be very happy to discuss options with school, transportation and living arrangements.
