Q: What are your skating goals, both short-term and long-term?
Currently, I am improving my ice dance skills through solo ice dance where I the current junior national champion and am ranked #1 in Australia. Although, I am aiming to find a partner in order to train and compete in partnered ice dance. I hope to be able to compete at international level competitions in Junior such as JGP and eventually senior competitions.
Q: What qualities do you possess that would make you a good partner?
I am committed and very hard-working- and above all, eager to immerse myself in the world of partnered ice dance.
I am good at communicating and am a very positive person who always strives to bring my best self to each training session and day. I am an experienced skater with over 12 years in the sport, competing in singles, synchronised skating and now solo ice dance. I have competed both nationally and internationally at multiple events in solo ice dance singles and synchro, allowing for me to have lots of experience. My strengths lie in my skating skills, flexibility, speed and connection to the music and ice. I want to create a partnership and programs that are not only successful, but move audiences and leave an impact.
Extra comments:
I finished high school and have recently relocated to train full-time under Jonathan Guerreiro. I am willing to relocate, however, with plans to continue to focus on skating and training. I currently train multiple hours, 6 days a week, on and off the ice, and am excited to continue this high-level training schedule with a partner!
Australia also currently has minimal ice dance competitors within the junior division, allowing for my partnership to act as an opportunity to take advantage of this for international selection.
